Description:

Fennel  essential oil is steam-distilled from the crushed seeds of this plant. Fennel can be easily identified by its sweet, somewhat spicy, and licorice-like aroma. This essential oil contains the following health properties: anti-parasitic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, diuretic, and expectorant.

The essential oil of fennel may be obtained through the steam distillation of crushed fennel seeds, an herb which bears the scientific name of Foeniculum vulgare.

These medicinal properties may come from the various components of the essential oil of fennel, including alpha-pinene, anisic aldehyde, cineole, fenchone, limonene, myrcene, methyl chavicol, and trans-anethole.

Recent research published in 2015 found that fennel essential oil was very effective against dermatophytes indicating that fennel essential oil had excellent anti-fungal potential to treat common skin, nail and hair fungus

Direction of use: 

Diluted with carrier oil can be applied directly to the skin.

Best if applied to the pulse points on the wrists and temples, so it can be absorbed quickly by the body.

Also You can use a fennel oil as:

Inhalation:  inhale it directly from your bottle or a handkerchief or diffuse it in your diffuser machine.

Massage: dilute the oil with a suitable carrier oil and massage it into your abdomen to treat menstrual pains or digestive problems.

Essential oil bath: add 4 or 5 drops of fennel oil to your tub of hot water and let its goodness soak into your body.
