• This oil is made from the flowers of the evergreen ylang-ylang tree, also called kananga.
• It grows only on the islands of Madagascar, Sumatra, Java, Indonesia, the Philippines and Reunion.
• Ylang Ylang essential oil is extracted from the flowers by steam distillation. 
• For this, flowers collected early in the morning at dawn are used. 
• To obtain 1 kg of oil, up to 60 kg of raw materials are required.
• It has been used for many years in various fields – perfumery, cosmetology, medicine, everyday life, etc. In addition, this oil is famous for its effect on the emotional state of people.
• The aroma of ylang-ylang is ranked among the most unusual and rich floral bouquets.
