Composition:

Each 100 mg of cream contains:

fusidic acid 20 mg

betamethasone valerate 1 mg

Auxiliary components:

macrogolcetostearate; cetostearyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol; chlorocresol; sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate; liquid paraffin, soft white paraffin; sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Properties:

Fusi-zone is a combined preparation containing corticosteroids betamethasone and fusidic acid, which has an antibacterial effect.

Betamethasone has a pharmacological effect, suppressing local immune responses, incl. vasodilation, swelling and soreness.

Fusidic acid is an antibiotic with predominant activity against gram-positive bacteria. In particular, fusidic acid is active against bact Staphylococcus aureus, Propionibacterium acnes and corynebacteria, and inhibits protein

synthesis in bacteria. After 30 years of use, bacterial resistance to fusidic acid is rare (13%). Most often, bacteria that are resistant to penicillin and other antibiotics are sensitive to fusidic acid.

Indications:

Dermatitis, allergic eczema and toxidermia, infected with microorganisms sensitive to fusidic acid.

Method of administration and dosage:

Outwardly.

Adults and children. Apply the cream in a thin layer 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is no more than 2 weeks.

Contraindications:

-increased sensitivity to drug components.

Considering the presence of GCS in the composition of the drug Fuzi-zon, the following conditions and diseases:

-rosacea;

-perioral dermatitis;

• adolescent acne;
• primary bacterial, viral and fungal skin diseases;

tuberculosis of the skin, syphilis (skin manifestations);

• children under 1 year old.

Precautions:

Bacterial resistance associated with the use of fusidic acid is noted. As with all antibiotics, overuse or repeated use can increase the risk of developing antibiotic resistance.

The drug should be taken with caution in case of perianal or genital itching.

Fusi-zone@ should be used with caution on large areas of the skin, under occlusive dressings, on the face and areas of diaper r

Do not apply the drug to open wounds and mucous membranes.

The drug should be used with caution in the periorbital area, because in this case, the development of glaucoma is possible.

If the use of Fuzi-zone@ cream causes irritation or excessive skin sensitivity, you should stop using it and start another appropriate treatment.

If treatment is discontinued, a withdrawal syndrome may appear, manifested in the form of redness, burning or tingling sensations of the skin, or exacerbation of psoriasis. These phenomena can be prevented by gradual withdrawal of the drug.

Children should receive the minimum dose of the drug sufficient to achieve the effect.

Side effects:

On the part of the skin and skin appendages: infrequently – rash, exacerbation of eczema, skin irritation, itching, burning or tingling sensation of the skin; frequency unknown skin atrophy, contact dermatitis, urticaria, erythema, dry skin.

Although these reactions were not observed in clinical studies of the drug Fuzi-zon@, external use of GCS can lead to telangiectasias and striae, especially with prolonged use.

As in the case of other corticosteroids, folliculitis (steroid acne), hypertrichosis, perioral dermatitis, depigmentation, hemorrhagic rash, rosacea, prickly heat, skin maceration and systemic effects of corticosteroids may develop.

Storage method:

At a temperature not higher than 30 degrees.
