Each hard gelatin capsule contains 300 mg phospholipids extracted from soybean seeds, containing 76% (3-sn-phosphatidyl) choline (extractant: 96% (v / v) ethanol), 300 mg. The other components are solid fat (Witepsol W35), refined soybean oil, DL-tocopherol, hydrogenated castor oil, solid fat (Witepsol S55), 96% ethanol, ethylvaniline, 4-methoxyacetophenone, gelatin, purified water.
Description:
Essentiale contains essential phospholipids extracted from soybeans. This medicine is indicated for adults, adolescents and children over the age of 12 years, for the relief of symptoms such as lack of appetite and pressure sensation in the right side of the upper abdomen, caused by liver damage by harmful substances or malnutrition (toxic-nutritional impairment of the liver) and in chronic inflammation of the liver (hepatitis).
Precautions:
This medicine contains soybean oil. If you have peanut or soy allergy, do not use this medicine.
This medicine contains a small amount of alcohol (ethanol), less than 100 mg per dose (6 capsules per day) and hydrogenated castor oil. Hydrogenated castor oil can cause gastric embarrassment and diarrhea.
The administration of this does not replace the need to avoid toxic factors, which cause liver damage (eg alcohol).
In chronic hepatitis (chronic inflammation of the liver), adjuvant treatment with essential phospholipids from soybeans is justified only if you notice that your symptoms are improved during treatment.
Dosage, method of administration:
If the doctor does not recommend other doses, indicate 2 capsules 3 times a day or 3 capsules 2 times a day, given with little liquid during meals.
