Composition: 

Each 4 ml ampoule contains Ondansetron 8 mg. 

Product Description: 

Danset is an antiemetic medication used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting.
It is supplied as a solution for intravenous (I.V.) or intramuscular (I.M.) injection or infusion. 

Indications for Use: 

Danset is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and post-operative recovery. 

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Danset is administered by I.V. or I.M. injection or infusion.
Dosage and frequency depend on the patient’s age, weight, and clinical condition, and must be prescribed by a physician. 

Contraindications: 

Danset must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to ondansetron or any component of the formulation. 

Precautions: 

Caution is advised in patients with impaired liver function.
Monitoring is recommended in patients with cardiac arrhythmias or those taking other drugs that prolong the QT interval. 

Adverse Reactions: 

Possible side effects include headache, constipation, flushing, and local injection site reactions.
Rarely, serious cardiac arrhythmias may occur. 

Pregnancy and Lactation: 

Danset should only be used during pregnancy or lactation if clearly necessary and prescribed by a physician. 

Storage Conditions: 

Store below 25°C in a dry place.
Protect from light.
Keep out of reach of children. 

Packaging: 

Danset is supplied in a box containing three ampoules of 4 ml solution for I.V. or I.M. injection or infusion.
