Chartoreg Plus 80 mg/25 mg 28 tablets

Active ingredient:

Each tablet contains 80 mg telmisartan and 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide.

Description: 

Chartoreg Plus fixed-dose combination 80 mg telmisartan/25 mg hydrochlorothiazide  is indicated in adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on telmisartan alone.

Indications:

Treatment of essential hypertension.

Chartoreg Plus fixed dose combination (80 mg telmisartan/25 mg hydrochlorothiazide) is indicated in adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on Chartoreg Plus 80 mg/12.5 mg (80 mg telmisartan/12.5 mg hydrochlorothiazide) or adults who have been previously stabilised on telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide given separately.

Dosage and method of administration:

Chartoreg, Plus tablets are for once-dally oral administration and should be taken with liquid, with or without food.

Chartoreg Plus 80 mg/25 mg may be administered once daily in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by Chartoreg Plus 80 mg/12.5 mg or in patients pres have been previously stabilized on temisartan and hydrochlorothiazide given separately.

Contraindications:

Chartoreg Plus is not indicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. 

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug pregnancy Breastfeeding Fructose intolerance (this product contains sorbitol).

Children under the age of one year may affect kidney growth

Do not use this product during pregnancy as it may cause injury or death to the fetus

Hypersensitivity to other sulphonamide-derived substances (since hydrochlorothiazide is a sulphonamide-derived medicinal product).

Cholestasis and biliary obstructive disorders.

Severe hepatic impairment.

Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 ml/min).

Refractory hypokalaemia, hypercalcaemia. The concomitant use of Chartoreg Plus with aliskiren-containing products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR < 60 ml/min/1.73 m*).

Side Effect:

Back pain, Sinusitis, Diarrhea, Intermittent claudication, Skin ulcers, Indigestion, Nausea, Abdominal pain, low blood pressure, palpitation

Upper respiratory tract infection: such as sore throat and sinusitis, Cough, Bronchitis

Storage:

Store at a temperature between 15 - 30 ° C, out of moisture and out of the reach of children.
