Composition:
Amlodipine 5 mg.
Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.
Telmisartan 80 mg.
Excipients, film-coated tablet shell.
Product Description:
Chartoreg Trio is a fixed-dose combination antihypertensive medication.
It combines a calcium channel blocker (amlodipine), a thiazide diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide), and an angiotensin II receptor blocker (telmisartan).
This triple therapy is designed to effectively lower blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular risk.
Indications for Use:
Indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in patients requiring combination therapy to achieve adequate blood pressure control.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
Administer orally once daily, with or without food.
Dosage should be individualized based on patient response and clinical judgment.
Tablets should be swallowed whole with water.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any active ingredient or excipients.
Contraindicated in pregnancy, severe renal impairment, severe hepatic impairment, and in patients with refractory hypokalemia or hypercalcemia.
Precautions:
Monitor blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes regularly.
Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function, heart failure, or electrolyte imbalance.
Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):
Possible dizziness, headache, peripheral edema, fatigue, gastrointestinal disturbances, electrolyte imbalance, or rare allergic reactions.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Contraindicated during pregnancy.
Not recommended during lactation unless clearly necessary and prescribed by a physician.
