Composition: 

Each tablet contains:
Biperiden hydrochloride 2 mg.

Product Description: 

Achtenon is an anticholinergic preparation.
It is indicated for the treatment of parkinsonism symptoms and drug-induced extrapyramidal disorders.

Indications for Use: 

Relief of tremor, rigidity, and other symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
Management of extrapyramidal side effects caused by neuroleptic medications.

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Adults: dosage varies depending on condition and physician’s prescription.
Typically administered orally, 2–8 mg daily in divided doses.

Contraindications: 

Hypersensitivity to biperiden or excipients.
Contraindicated in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, or intestinal obstruction.

Precautions: 

Use with caution in elderly patients, those with cardiovascular disease, or individuals with a history of seizures.
Avoid alcohol during treatment.

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects): 

Possible dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, urinary retention, dizziness, or confusion.
Rarely, hallucinations or tachycardia.
