Composition:
Each capsule contains:
Piracetam – 400mg
Vincamine 20mg
Properties:
Piracetam is a nootropic substance known as an intelligence enhancer. Facilitates the supply of oxygen to the brain and improves communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain, also improves memory. Vincamine is very effective in enhancing concentration and focus. It is a vasodilator that increases blood circulation, especially in cases of various types of cerebral insufficiency. Vincamine has very low toxicity as it is a plant extract.
Indications:
dizziness, problems with concentration, memory, etc. Treatment of established cerebral infarction. Adjunctive treatment for the elimination of symptoms of pathological cognitive deficit and chronic neurosensory disorders in elderly patients (excluding
Alzheimer’s disease and other mental disorders).
Mode of application:
1-2 capsules 3 times a day (depending on the severity of the case). The capsules should be swallowed whole (without opening or chewing), with 1/2 glass of water.
Contraindications:
severe renal impairment (if dialysis is not available, it is not recommended to use high doses for short intervals).
Absolute: hypersensitivity to one of the components. Cerebral neoplasm with increased intracranial pressure.
Relative: problems with atrioventricular conduction, cardiac arrhythmia. Vincamine should be taken with caution and under close supervision.
Precautions:
in case of renal failure, the dose should be changed. Since Servitam is completely
excreted in urine, it is preferable to reduce doses or increase the time between doses.
Side effects:
nervous agitation, instability, insomnia aggravated when used in elderly patients (5% of cases). Gastrointestinal problems: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastralgia (2% of cases). Risk of twisting limbs.
Drug interaction: simultaneous use with
Bepridil, Bretilium, Erythromycin, Quinidines is prohibited. It is undesirable to combine with hypokalemic diuretics, amphotericin, corticoids, stimulant laxatives. Medicines that cause twisting of the limbs, such as pentamidine, sparfloxacin, terfenadine.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C in a dry, dark place and out of reach of children.
