Mirage 1 g vial with solvent 1 + 4 ampoules 5 ml

Composition: 

Each vial contains Meropenem 1 g (powder for reconstitution).
Supplied with 4 ampoules of solvent (5 ml each). 

Product Description: 

Mirage is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic.
It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including resistant strains.
Used in severe infections requiring intravenous therapy. 

Indications for Use: 

Mirage is indicated for the treatment of severe bacterial infections such as pneumonia, intra-abdominal infections, meningitis, urinary tract infections, and septicemia. 

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Administered intravenously.
The powder must be reconstituted with the provided solvent before injection.
Dosage depends on infection type, severity, and patient’s condition. 

Contraindications: 

Must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to meropenem, other carbapenems, or beta-lactam antibiotics. 

Precautions: 

Caution in patients with renal impairment, seizure disorders, or history of antibiotic allergies.
Dose adjustment may be required. 

Adverse Reactions: 

Possible side effects include diarrhea, nausea, rash, headache, thrombophlebitis, and rarely seizures. 

Pregnancy and Lactation: 

Use only if clearly necessary and prescribed by a physician.
