Composition:

Repaglinide 1 mg (per tablet).

Product Description: 

NovoNorm is an oral antidiabetic preparation containing repaglinide, a short-acting insulin secretagogue.
It stimulates pancreatic beta cells to release insulin, thereby helping to control postprandial blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Indications for Use: 

Recommended for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus requiring improved control of blood glucose, particularly postprandial hyperglycemia, when diet and exercise alone are insufficient.

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Dosage is individualized by a physician depending on patient response and blood glucose levels.
Tablets are taken orally before meals.

Contraindications: 

Type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe hepatic impairment, hypersensitivity to repaglinide or excipients.

Precautions: 

Use with caution in patients with moderate liver disease.
Monitor blood glucose regularly.
Risk of hypoglycemia increases with missed meals or concomitant use of other antidiabetic drugs.
