Nebivolol 5 mg

Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg

Auxiliary components:

Polysorbate, Aerosil 200, magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate, starch, croscarmellose sodium.

Properties:

Nebivolol is a lipophilic, cardioselective, beta1-blocker with vasodilatory properties. It has antihypertensive, antianginal and antiarrhythmic effects. Reduces high blood pressure at rest, during physical exertion and stress. Competitively and selectively blocks synaptic and postsynaptic beta1-blockers, making them inaccessible to catecholamines, modulates the release of endothelial vasodilating factor nitric oxide (NO).

Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic. Reduces the reabsorption of sodium ions in the cortical segment of the loop of Henle, without affecting its area, passing in the medulla of the kidney. It blocks carbonic anhydrase in the proximal part of the convoluted renal tubules, enhances the excretion of potassium ions, bicarbonates and phosphates by the kidneys. Virtually no effect on the acid-base state. It enhances the excretion of magnesium ions by the kidneys, retains calcium ions in the body and inhibits the excretion of urates.

Indications:

Arterial hypertension (patients who are indicated for combination therapy).

Dosage and administration:

Inside, it is desirable to take at the same time, 1 time per day, regardless of the time of the meal, without chewing and drinking plenty of liquid. At the beginning of therapy, you should take 1 tablet per day.

Contraindications:

– hypersensitivity to nebivolol or one of the components of the drug, as well as to other beta-blockers, hypersensitivity to hydrochlorothiazide and other sulfonamide derivatives;

– severe liver dysfunction;

– acute heart failure;

– cardiogenic shock;

– chronic heart failure;

-syndrome of weakness of the sinus node, including sinoatrial blockade;

– AV block II and III degree (without artificial pacemaker);

– severe forms of bronchial asthma and COPD;

– pheochromocytoma (without the simultaneous use of alpha-blockers);

-depression;

– metabolic acidosis;

– bradycardia;

– severe arterial hypotension;

– hypovolemia;

– hard-to-control diabetes mellitus;

– acute renal failure;

Refractory hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia.

Precautionary measures:

Cancellation of beta-blockers should be carried out gradually, within 10 days (up to 2 weeks in patients with coronary artery disease).

Control of blood pressure and heart rate at the beginning of the drug should be daily.

In elderly patients, monitoring of kidney function is necessary (1 time in 4-5 months).

Side effects:

From the nervous system: often: headache, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, paresthesia.

From the digestive tract: often: nausea, constipation, diarrhea.

On the part of the hematopoietic organs: very rarely: leukopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia.

From the side of the cardiovascular system: arrhythmias, orthostatic hypotension, vasculitis.
