Composition: 

Each capsule contains 30 mg lansoprazole.
Excipients include sucrose and other stabilizers.

Product Description: 

Lanzofutal is a delayed-release capsule formulation of lansoprazole.
It reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the proton pump in stomach lining cells.
It is indicated for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Indications for Use:

Treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers.
GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and reflux esophagitis.
Maintenance therapy for healed ulcers and esophagitis.
Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination with antibiotics).
Treatment and prevention of NSAID-associated ulcers.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory conditions.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

Standard adult dose: 15 - 30 mg once daily, taken in the morning at least 30 minutes before food.
For H. pylori eradication: 30 mg twice daily with antibiotics.
Capsules should be swallowed whole with liquid.
For patients unable to swallow: capsule may be opened and granules mixed with water, juice, or soft food (e.g., yogurt).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to lansoprazole or excipients.
Concomitant use with rilpivirine-containing products.

Precautions:

Long-term use may cause magnesium deficiency, vitamin B12 deficiency, increased fracture risk, and kidney inflammation.
Symptomatic relief does not exclude gastric malignancy — diagnostic evaluation may be required.
Monitor for drug interactions (methotrexate, warfarin, digoxin, tacrolimus, HIV medications).

Adverse Reactions /Side Effects:

Common: headache, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain.
Less common: dizziness, rash, constipation.
Rare: severe cutaneous reactions, hypomagnesemia, interstitial nephritis.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Use only if clearly needed; safety data is limited.
Excretion in breast milk is possible — caution advised.

Storage Conditions:

Store below 25°C, in a dry place.
Protect from light and moisture.
