Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Perindopril Arginine 10 mg,
Amlodipine 10 mg.
Product Description:
Coveram is a fixed-dose combination of an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and a calcium channel blocker.
It is designed to reduce blood pressure and manage cardiovascular risk by combining vasodilation with inhibition of the renin-angiotensin system.
Indications for Use:
Treatment of essential hypertension.
Management of stable coronary artery disease in patients requiring combination therapy.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
Administered orally, one tablet daily, preferably in the morning before meals.
Dosage is adjusted according to physician’s prescription and patient’s clinical response.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to perindopril, amlodipine, other ACE inhibitors, dihydropyridine derivatives, or excipients.
History of angioedema.
Severe hypotension, shock, or obstruction of outflow tract.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, hepatic dysfunction, or heart failure.
Monitor blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes during therapy.
Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):
Common: dizziness, headache, cough, ankle oedema.
Uncommon: gastrointestinal upset, rash, fatigue.
Rare: angioedema, severe hypotension, hepatic dysfunction.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Storage Conditions:
Store below 25°C.
