Compound:
Each 1 ml solution (25 drops) contains:
heptaminol 150 mg
Properties:
Heptaminol is a cardiac stimulant (it has a positive inotropic effect). It increases coronary blood flow, also has peripheral vasoconstrictor properties and a mild stimulating effect. Heptaminol does not have a cumulative effect.
Indications:
-Hypotension;
– a tendency to faint and moderately pronounced collapse;
-asthenia;
-nervous and physical fatigue;
-treatment of mild heart failure;
– heart failure associated with toxic, infectious, degenerative or atherosclerotic diseases of the myocardium;
– neonatal asphyxia;
Dosage and administration:
Infants and children under 12:
Take 4-16 drops 2-4 times a day, depending on age, up to 6 times a day or as directed by a doctor.
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
Take one tablet or 25 drops 2-4 times a day, up to 6 times a day, or as directed by a physician.
Contraindications:
There are no known contraindications to the use of heptaminol.
Precautionary measures:
It is used with caution in people with high blood pressure, as well as in patients taking theophylline derivatives.
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees, in a dry place.
