If tolerated by patients, the dose can be increased to 6.25, 12.5 and 25 mg 2 times a day at successive intervals of at least 2 weeks. The maximum dose of 50 mg 2 times a day is prescribed for patients with mild to moderate heart failure weighing more than 85 kg. Left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction.
