Composition:
Each suppository contains:
Polycresulin – 100mg.
Cinhocaine hydrochloride – 2.5mg.
Auxiliary components: sodium hydroxide, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, phospholipids from soybeans, edetic acid, solid fat (Witepsol HI 2 and Witepsol W31).
Properties:
Polycresulin is a polymerized organic acid with selective protein properties. The PH in preparation is 4.0. It causes the contraction of small blood vessels, leaving healthy tissue unchanged, which instantly leads to a stop of bleeding. In addition, it increases local blood flow, which speeds up the healing process. The bactericidal effect prevents the accumulation of pathogens and inflammation. The local surface anesthetic, Qinhocaine, relieves pain and itching in the anorectal region.
Indications:
For the treatment of internal hemorrhoids, especially in the presence of inflammatory symptoms and bleeding; anal fissures
itching; anal eczema; also wound treatment and healing after proctological operations.
Application mode:
2-3 suppositories are administered daily (1 suppository after each bowel movement and at night). After improvement of symptoms, treatment can be continued at a dose of 1 suppository per day. The use and safety of the suppository in children and adolescents has not been tested.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to active substances, any of the excipients or other local anesthetics.
Precautions:
If allergic reactions occur, the drug should be discontinued.
Side effects:
Skin and subcutaneous tissue: sometimes discomfort (eg, burning, itching), which usually disappear after a short time. Very rare: aller contact sensitization (erythema with papulum pruritus). In this case, treatment should be
discontinued. Disorders of the immune system are very rare: allergic reactions, including general reactions (angioedema, laryngeal edema, urticaria, etc.) and generalized reactions: anaphylaxis. If you have any symptoms of adverse reactions that have been mentioned or otherwise, stop using the drug and consult your doctor.
Pregnancy and lactation: there are no clinical data on use in pregnant women. Use during pregnancy or lactation with caution and under medical supervision.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25C, out of the reach of children.
