Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains Eplerenone 25 mg.
Product Description:
EraLoner is a selective aldosterone antagonist that acts on mineralocorticoid receptors, reducing sodium reabsorption and lowering blood pressure.
It is used in cardiovascular therapy, particularly in patients with heart failure following myocardial infarction and in the treatment of hypertension.
Indications for Use:
EraLoner is indicated for heart failure after myocardial infarction and for hypertension when standard therapies are insufficient or contraindicated.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
The tablets are administered orally, swallowed whole with water.
Dosage is individualized by the physician depending on the patient’s condition.
Regular monitoring of serum potassium and renal function is required.
Contraindications:
EraLoner is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Eplerenone or excipients, severe renal impairment, hyperkalemia, and concomitant use of strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
Precautions:
Caution is required in patients with impaired liver function, diabetes with microalbuminuria, or those taking potassium supplements.
Monitoring of potassium levels is essential.
Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):
Possible adverse reactions include hyperkalemia, dizziness, hypotension, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
Serious risks involve arrhythmias due to elevated potassium levels.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless the potential benefit outweighs the risk.
