Composition:

Sacubitril 49 mg,
Valsartan 51 mg (per tablet).

Product Description:

Entresto is a modern medicine for the treatment of chronic heart failure.
It reduces strain on the heart, helps it work more effectively, and improves blood circulation.

Indications for use:

Chronic heart failure (NYHA Class II–IV) with reduced ejection fraction.
Reduction of cardiovascular mortality and hospitalization risk.
May be prescribed to children aged one year and older with symptomatic left ventricular systolic dysfunction.

Method of administration and dosage:

Usually started with one tablet twice daily.
The doctor may gradually increase the dose to the target of 97/103 mg twice daily.
Lower doses are prescribed for patients with kidney or liver problems.

Contraindications:

Allergy to sacubitril, valsartan, or similar medicines.
History of angioedema with ACE inhibitors or ARBs.
Pregnancy.

Precautions:

Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels.
Do not take together with ACE inhibitors.
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease or low blood pressure.

Side effects:

Common: dizziness, cough, low blood pressure, high potassium, kidney problems.
Rare: severe swelling of the face, lips, or throat (angioedema) — requires urgent medical help.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Contraindicated during pregnancy.
Not recommended while breastfeeding.

Storage conditions:

Store below 25°C in a dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.
