Composition:
Active Ingredients:
- Diosmin - 450 mg
- Hesperidin - 50 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Avicel PH101, Pregelatinized Starch, Povidone K30, Croscarmellose sodium, Magnesium stearate, Methocel E15, Polyethylene glycol 6000, Titanium dioxide, Talc.
Description:
DAFREX is a venotonic and vasoprotective agent of plant origin.
The combination of diosmin and hesperidin improves venous tone, reduces venous stasis, enhances lymphatic drainage, and strengthens capillary resistance.

It alleviates symptoms related to venous-lymphatic insufficiency and hemorrhoidal crises.
Indications for Use:
- Treatment of symptoms related to venous-lymphatic insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, cramps, edema).
- Treatment of functional symptoms associated with acute hemorrhoidal crisis.
Dosage and Method of Administration:
Usual dosage:
2 tablets daily - 1 tablet at noon and 1 tablet in the evening, taken with meals.

Hemorrhoidal crisis: 6 tablets daily for the first 4 days, followed by 4 tablets daily for the next 3 days.
Route of administration:
Oral use.

The safety and efficacy of DAFREX in children and adolescents under 18 years have not been established.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to diosmin, hesperidin, or any of the excipients.
Precautions:
- Hemorrhoidal crisis:
Administration of DAFREX does not replace specific treatment for other anal diseases.

Treatment should be short-term. If symptoms persist, a proctological examination should be performed and therapy reassessed.
Additional precautions:
- No clinically significant drug interactions have been reported.
- Use with caution in patients with known allergies.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a physician.
Side Effects:
- Nervous system disorders:
Rare - dizziness, headache, malaise.

- Gastrointestinal disorders: 
Common - diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting; 
Uncommon - colitis;
Unknown - abdominal pain.

- Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: 
Rare - rash, pruritus, urticaria;
Unknown - facial, eyelid, or lip edema;
Very rarely - angioedema.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Pregnancy:
There are limited data on the use of diosmin and hesperidin in pregnant women.

Animal studies revealed no reproductive toxicity, but as a precaution, DAFREX should be avoided during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding:
It is not known whether the active metabolites are excreted in human milk.

A risk for newborns cannot be excluded.
A decision must be made whether to discontinue breastfeeding or discontinue therapy, considering the benefit for the mother and infant.
Storage Conditions:
Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light.
Keep out of the reach of children.
