Composition: 

Each tablet contains Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride equivalent to 750 mg of ciprofloxacin.

Product Description: 

Ciprocin is a fluoroquinolone broad-spectrum antibacterial agent.
It acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, making it effective against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms.

Indications for Use: 

Treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections.

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Administered orally.
A typical adult dose is 500-750 mg twice daily, depending on infection type and severity.
Dosage is adjusted by physicians according to clinical response and renal function.

Contraindications: 

Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, other quinolones, or excipients.
Concurrent use with tizanidine.
Children and adolescents except for specific indications.

Precautions: 

Use with caution in patients with epilepsy, CNS disorders, or renal impairment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure due to risk of photosensitivity.
Monitor for tendon inflammation or rupture, especially in elderly patients or those on corticosteroids.

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects): 

Common: nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, headache.
Uncommon: rash, insomnia, abdominal pain.
Rare: tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy, psychiatric effects.

Pregnancy and Lactation: 

Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation unless benefits outweigh risks.
