Composition:

Bisoprolol fumarate 5 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.

Product Description:

A combined antihypertensive drug combining a beta1-blocker (bisoprolol) and a thiazide diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide), which mutually enhance the hypotensive effect.

Indications for use:

Arterial hypertension (in cases where combination therapy is indicated).

Method of administration and dosage:

Taken orally, as a rule, 1 tablet once a day (in the morning), regardless of food intake.
The dosage can be adjusted by a doctor individually.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to bisoprolol, hydrochlorothiazide or other sulfonamide derivatives;
• Acute heart failure or episodes of heart failure decompensation requiring inotropic therapy;
• Cardiogenic shock; atrioventricular block of the II and III degree without an artificial pacemaker;
• Sick sinus syndrome;
• Sinoatrial block;
• Severe bradycardia (less than 50 beats per minute);
• Severe arterial hypotension (systolic pressure less than 100 mm Hg);
• Severe forms of bronchial asthma or COPD;
• Severe peripheral arterial circulation disorders or Raynaud's syndrome;
• Severe renal (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min) or hepatic impairment;
• Treatment-resistant hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia;
• Simultaneous administration with floctafenine or MAO inhibitors (except for MAO-B inhibitors).

Precautions:

Do not abruptly stop taking the drug to avoid withdrawal syndrome.
Caution is required in diabetes mellitus, psoriasis, and surgical interventions under general anesthesia. It is necessary to regularly monitor blood electrolytes, kidney function, and glucose levels.

Adverse reaction / Side effects:

Dizziness, headache, increased fatigue, asthenia are possible from the nervous system.
From the cardiovascular system — a pronounced decrease in blood pressure, bradycardia, conduction disturbances, orthostatic hypotension.
From the metabolism side — hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hyperglycemia, hyperuricemia.
From the gastrointestinal tract — nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, dry mouth.
Other effects include muscle spasms and skin allergic reactions.

Pregnancy and lactation:

The use of the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and during breastfeeding, since the active substances penetrate the placenta and into breast milk.

Storage conditions:

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in a place inaccessible to children.
