Composition:

Each tablet contains betahistine dihydrochloride 8 mg. 
Excipients:
microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, citric acid monohydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, talc.

Product Description:

• Betaserc is a synthetic analogue of histamine.
• It acts mainly on histamine H1‑receptors, causes precapillary dilation, and improves microcirculation in the labyrinth. 
• It regulates endolymphatic pressure in the labyrinth and cochlea, leading to clinical improvement in vertigo of various origins. 
• It reduces the frequency and intensity of dizziness, decreases tinnitus, and helps improve hearing. 
• It may increase the tone of smooth muscles in the bronchi and gastrointestinal tract, and can enhance gastric juice secretion.

Indications for Use:

Ménière’s syndrome,
manifested by dizziness (with nausea and vomiting),
hearing loss (hypoacusis), and tinnitus.
Symptomatic treatment of vestibular vertigo.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

The optimal dosing regimen is determined by the physician.
Single dose: 8–16 mg, taken three times daily.
Treatment is long‑term.
To reduce dyspeptic symptoms, it is recommended to take during or after meals.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to betahistine.
• Pheochromocytoma. 
• Peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum in the acute phase. 
• Bronchial asthma. 
• First trimester of pregnancy. 
• Use with caution in the second and third trimesters, during breastfeeding, and in children.

Precautions:

Use cautiously in patients with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcer.
Clinical effect is achieved after several months of treatment.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Gastrointestinal: mild nausea, feeling of heaviness in the epigastrium.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy.
In the second and third trimesters, and during breastfeeding, use only as prescribed by a physician.

Storage Conditions:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
