Properties:
Bi-Profenide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory, antirheumatic, antipyretic agent of central and peripheral action.
Indications:
Long-term symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, painful and disabling arthrosis; short-term symptomatic treatment of acute attacks: abarticular rheumatism (scapulohumeral periarthritis, tendonitis, bursitis), microcrystalline arthritis, arthrosis. Radiculitis, benign post-traumatic lesions of the musculoskeletal system; treatment of migraine with or without aura.
Mode of application:
Inside, the tablets should be swallowed whole with a meal with plenty of water. Adults and children from 15 years of age: rheumatoid arthritis – 150 mg per day, 1 tablet, or 2 doses of half a tablet. Short-term symptomatic treatment of acute attacks: 300 mg per day (2 tablets of 150 mg in 2 divided doses).
Treatment of migraine attacks: at the first sign of an attack. Initial dose: 75 mg (1/2 tablet). Effectiveness occurs within 2 hours after taking the drug. If the 75 mg dose is ineffective, 150 mg can be taken during the next attack with at least 12 hours between doses. DO NOT EXCEED THE DOSE 300 mg / day.
Contraindications:
Children under 15; hypersensitivity to ketoprofen, aspirin or any of the excipients of the drug; Gl or other hemorrhage; a stomach or intestinal ulcer; severe heart, hepatic and renal failure; pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions:
With renal failure and elderly patients, the dosage is adjusted by the doctor. If you develop a worsening condition, allergies, contact your doctor immediately.
Side effects:
Headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, cramps, and mood disorders; vertigo; tachy / bradycardia, arterial hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure; attacks of asthma or bronchospasm; photosensitivity, alopecia; visual impairment, ringing in the ears; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, gastrointestinal discomfort and pain in the stomach, gastritis, stomatitis; colitis; hepatitis; peptic ulcer, stomach bleeding and intestinal perforation; fluid retention in the body, edema; rash, itching, urticaria, Quincke’s edema.
Storage:
