Atoresa is a fixed-dose combination of atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a third generation hypolipidemic drug from the statin group. Reduces the level of “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing the level of “good” cholesterol (high density lipoprotein or HDL). Ezetimibe lowers blood cholesterol levels by inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol by the small intestine.
