Composition:
Amlodipine 10 mg is a calcium channel blocker.
Indapamide 2.5 mg is a thiazide-like diuretic.3. Perindopril 10 mg is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI).
Pharmacological properties:
Amlodipine
– Reduces vascular resistance by dilating arteries.
– Provides long-term reduction in blood pressure and reduces the load on the heart.
Indapamide
– Reduces circulating blood volume due to diuretic effect.
– Helps reduce blood pressure without significant electrolyte imbalance.
Perindopril
– Reduces angiotensin II levels and increases bradykinin levels.
– Improves vascular and cardiac muscle function, especially in patients with concomitant heart disease.
Indications for use:
• Arterial hypertension (high blood pressure).
• Heart failure (as part of complex therapy).
• Prevention of cardiovascular complications in high-risk patients.
Method of administration:
The dosage is determined by a specialist doctor based on the patient's health condition and the severity of his hypertension.
Initially, the patient is prescribed 2.5/3.5 mg of amlodipine/perindopril once a day.
The dose can be increased after 1-2 weeks if the response is achieved, but not to the desired level. The maximum daily dose is 10/40 mg of amlodipine/perindopril
