Spasmorest 20 mg 20 tablets

Composition:

Dicyclomine hydrochloride 20 mg.

Description: 

Antispasmodic medication.
Relieves smooth muscle spasms of the gastrointestinal tract.
Used in the management of irritable bowel syndrome and other functional bowel disorders.

Indications for Use:

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Functional gastrointestinal disorders with spasms.
Abdominal pain associated with intestinal spasm.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

Oral use.
Typical dose: 1 tablet (20 mg) 3-4 times daily.
Dosage adjusted by physician according to patient’s condition.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to dicyclomine.
Glaucoma.
Myasthenia gravis.
Severe ulcerative colitis.
Infants under 6 months.

Precautions:

Use with caution in elderly patients.
Monitor for anticholinergic side effects (dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention).
Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs.

Adverse Reactions/Side Effects:
