Composition:

Rosuvastatin 20 mg per tablet.

Product Description:

Rosuvast is a lipid‑lowering agent belonging to the statin class.
It works by inhibiting HMG‑CoA reductase, reducing cholesterol synthesis in the liver, and lowering LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, while increasing HDL cholesterol.

Indications for Use:

Recommended for treatment of hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and prevention of cardiovascular events in patients at risk.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

One tablet daily, dosage adjusted according to lipid profile and physician’s prescription.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to rosuvastatin or excipients, active liver disease, pregnancy, lactation.

Precautions:

Monitor liver function and lipid levels regularly.
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment or those taking drugs that may increase rosuvastatin plasma levels.

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):

Possible headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, muscle pain (myalgia), and rare cases of rhabdomyolysis.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Contraindicated.
Statins should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
