Composition:

Each tablet contains:
Captopril 50 mg,
Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, lactose.

Product Description:

A combined medicinal product with antihypertensive and diuretic effects.
Captopril is an ACE inhibitor that reduces the formation of angiotensin II, decreases aldosterone secretion, lowers blood pressure and cardiac load, and improves coronary and renal blood flow.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a medium‑strength thiazide diuretic that reduces sodium reabsorption and enhances the antihypertensive effect of captopril.

Indications for Use:

Arterial hypertension in patients requiring combination therapy.

Method of Administration and Dosage:

Taken orally: 1 tablet (50 mg captopril + 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide) once daily.
The optimal dosing regimen is determined by the physician.

Contraindications:

Angioedema, aortic stenosis, mitral stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, bilateral renal artery stenosis, post‑kidney transplantation, chronic heart failure, cardiogenic shock, arterial hypotension, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, primary hyperaldosteronism, concomitant use of aliskiren in patients with diabetes or renal impairment, pregnancy, breastfeeding, age under 18, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or related substances.

Precautions:

Excessive blood pressure reduction may occur at the start of treatment.
Sodium deficiency and blood volume should be corrected before therapy.
Regular monitoring of electrolytes, glucose, lipids, uric acid, creatinine, and liver enzyme activity is required.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

• Respiratory system: dry cough, shortness of breath; rarely bronchospasm, pneumonitis.
• Allergic reactions: itching, skin rashes, fever, arthralgia.
• CNS: drowsiness, dizziness; rarely headache, paresthesia.
• Gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, taste disturbances, dry mouth.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage Conditions:

Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.

Cardboard box containing 3 blister packs of 10 tablets each and a package insert.
