Composition:
Clarithromycin – 250mg in 5ml of ready suspension

Form: Powder for preparation of suspension for oral administration

Pharmacological properties:
Clarithromycin is an antibiotic from the macrolide group. It has a bacteriostatic effect (stops bacterial growth), and in high concentrations – bactericidal.
Disrupts protein synthesis in the bacterial cell
Active against:
Streptococcus pneumoniae
Haemophilus influenzae
Mycoplasma pneumoniae
Chlamydia pneumoniae
Helicobacter pylori
Legionella spp.

Indications for use:
Respiratory tract infections:
bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis
Otitis (inflammation of the middle ear)
Skin and soft tissue infections
Helicobacter pylori infection of the stomach (as part of complex therapy)
Mycobacterial infections (in immunocompromised patients)
