Composition:

Each 100 grams of cream contains:

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.2%, silver sulfadiazine 1%, polyethylene glycol monostearate 400, oleic acid decyl ester, emulsifying wax, glycerin, 70% sorbitol solution, purified water.

Properties:

An antibacterial cream for external use.

Active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi of the genus Candida and dermatophytes.

The bactericidal properties of the drug are due to the activity of silver ions, which are released in the wound as a result of the dissociation of silver sulfadiazine;  the release of silver ions occurs gradually (moderate dissociation), ensuring the constancy of the antibacterial action.  The bactericidal activity of silver ions is complemented by the bacteriostatic action of sulfadiazine (also released during the dissociation of silver sulfadiazine).

The cream is characterized by moderate osmotic activity and does not have necrolytic properties.

The Hyalo 4 cream also contains in its composition Hyaluronic acid, which moisturizes the skin well, and with its help, wounds heal better in conditions of high humidity.  That is, that the wound, the surface of which is sufficiently moistened, heals faster and better.  Moreover, hyaluronic acid has such a feature that under its influence scars are not formed or practically do not form.

Indications:

-prevention and treatment of purulent wounds and burns with mild exudation, trophic ulcers, bedsores in adults and children over 1 year old, including:

treatment of fresh burn surfaces to prevent infection;

-treatment of wound and burn surfaces in the first phase of the wound process with mild exudation;

-treatment of trophic ulcers, bedsores, long-term non-healing wounds, incl.  stump wound.

Dosage and administration:

The cream is applied externally after surgical treatment of the wound and removal of necrotic tissues.

The cream is applied to the damaged surface with a thin layer (2-4 mm) – under a bandage or in an open way.

The dressing is changed 1-2 times / day or less.  Duration of treatment – up to 1 month.

Contraindications:

-pregnancy;

– lactation (breastfeeding);

– children’s age;

-hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Warnings and precautions:

Hyalo 4 should not be used to treat deep purulent wounds and burn surfaces with abundant exudation.

Side effects:

Local reactions: rarely – burning, pain (usually disappear on their own in 5-10 minutes after applying the bandage).

Systemic reactions: with prolonged use of the drug on extensive burn surfaces, changes in the pattern of peripheral blood (leukopenia), dyspeptic symptoms and allergic reactions characteristic of sulfanilamide preparations are possible.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
