Dual Head Stethoscope

Classic

Properties:

Granzia Dual Head Stethoscope is designed to allow the user to be able to listen to different sound frequencies. The cup side is designed to listen to low frequency lung sounds, while the opposite flat side is designed to listen to high frequency heart sounds.

It does this by providing two separate listening discs, one for each ear, which can be independently positioned on the patient’s body. This allows the physician to more easily identify subtle differences in sound that can indicate a particular condition.

-Soft Eartips

-Latex Free Tube

-Snap on Diaphragm Ring

-Bell Side Detects Low Frequency Sound

-Diaphragm Side Detects High Frequency Sound

Directions for use:

Depending on the character of the examination, locate the patient in a comfortable stable position, standing, sitting or laying. If necessary, wait about a minute until his/her breathing slows down.

-The patient must undress the part of the body you need to examine.

-Make sure the ear tips of the stethoscope are looking in the direction of your ear. Make sure the ear tips fit snugly and provide good insulation to block out external noise.

-Listen to the heart rate and other body sounds in a quiet room, away from electrical equipment.

-If there is hair on the patient’s body, place the head of the stethoscope firmly against the skin and hold it still so that the hair does not make rustling sounds.

Warnings and precautions:

  • Do not sterilize your stethoscope. Do not clean it with antiseptics. Antiseptics contain wetting agents that can cause the stethoscope membrane to swell and fall out, so this practice is not recommended.
  • Do not immerse your stethoscope in liquids.
  • During the examination, avoid even lightly hitting the stethoscope head against the surface, this is dangerous and can harm hearing, yours or doctor’s.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage:

Store in a safe dry place.
