Composition (per gram): 

Fusidic acid 20 mg (2%), Betamethasone 1 mg (0.1%)

Product Description: 

Fucicort is a topical antibiotic/corticosteroid preparation combining fusidic acid and betamethasone.
It provides antibacterial action against staphylococcal infections and anti-inflammatory effects to reduce redness, itching, and swelling.

Indications for Use: 

Recommended for skin infections caused by staphylococci, particularly when associated with inflammation, eczema, or dermatitis.

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily, as prescribed by a physician.
For external use only.

Contraindications: 

Hypersensitivity to fusidic acid, betamethasone, or excipients.
Contraindicated in viral, fungal, or tuberculous skin infections.

Precautions: 

Avoid prolonged use, especially on large areas, broken skin, or under occlusive dressings.
Use with caution in children and avoid contact with eyes.

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects): 

Possible local reactions include burning, itching, dryness, or skin thinning with prolonged use.
Rare systemic absorption may cause corticosteroid side effects.
