Composition:

Active ingredient:
Levothyroxine sodium 25 mcg.
Excipients:
Mannitol.
Maize starch.
Sodium citrate anhydrous.
Croscarmellose sodium.
Gelatin.
Magnesium stearate.

Product description:

A synthetic analogue of the thyroid hormone thyroxine.
Regulates metabolism, influences tissue growth and development, and normalizes thyroid function.

Indications for use:

Hypothyroidism of various origins.
Replacement therapy after thyroidectomy.
Suppressive therapy in benign and malignant thyroid diseases.
As part of combination therapy for thyrotoxicosis.

Method of administration and dosage:

Administer orally, on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before breakfast.
Dosage is selected individually by the physician depending on the clinical picture and laboratory findings.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Untreated thyrotoxicosis.
Acute myocardial infarction, myocarditis, pancarditis.

Precautions:

Regular monitoring of thyroid hormone levels and the patient’s clinical condition is required.
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular diseases and in elderly patients.

Adverse reaction\Side effects:

In case of incorrect dosage, symptoms of hyperthyroidism may occur: tachycardia, arrhythmia, tremor, insomnia, sweating, weight loss.
