Composition:
Each 5 ml of reconstituted oral suspension contains:
Amoxicillin 250 mg and Clavulanic acid 62.5 mg, giving a total of 312.5 mg per 5 ml.
Product Description:
E-Moxclav is a broad-spectrum antibiotic presented as powder for oral suspension.
After reconstitution, the bottle provides 60 ml of suspension.
Indications for Use:
E-Moxclav is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in adults and children that are sensitive to the combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid.
It is commonly prescribed for infections of the ear, nose, and throat, respiratory tract infections, infections of the skin and soft tissues, urinary tract infections, and other bacterial conditions where beta-lactamase producing organisms are suspected.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
The suspension should be prepared according to the instructions in the leaflet and shaken well before each use.
Dosage is determined by the physician based on age, weight, and severity of infection.
Contraindications:
E-Moxclav must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, or other penicillins, or in those with a history of severe allergic reactions to beta-lactam antibiotics.
