Composition:

Each 150 ml aerosol contains:

Neomycin 165,000 IU

Bacitracin 12,500 IU

Properties:

Combined topical antibacterial preparation. Bacitracin is an antibacterial agent of polypeptide structure that inhibits the synthesis of the cell membrane. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that affects the genetic code of bacteria and disrupts the process of protein synthesis. Active against a number of gram-positive (including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus faecalis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis) and gram-negative (including Proteus spp., Enterobacter aerogenes, Haemophilus influenzaella multocida (formerly Pasteurella), Borrelia spp., Treponema pallidum; Leptospira interrogans, Fusobacterium spp.) microorganisms.

Indications:

Dermatology:

-epidermal pyoderma (impetigo, folliculitis, boil, phlegmon);

-infection of wound surfaces and bruises;

– gangrenous ecthyma;

– prevention of the development of purulent infection (shingles, insect bites).

Method of administration and dosage:

Use externally.

Shake the can before use.

Spray at a distance of 20-25 cm.

Contraindications:

– Hypersensitivity to bacitracin, neomycin or other aminoglycosides;

– extensive skin lesions (risk of developing an ototoxic effect, accompanied by hearing loss);

– severe disorders of excretory function due to heart or renal failure in patients with already existing lesions of the vestibular and cochlear systems in cases where absorption of active substances is possible.

Precautionary measures:

Since the risk of toxic effects increases with a decrease in liver and / or kidney function, in patients with hepatic and / or renal insufficiency, blood and urine tests should be performed along with an audiometric study before and during therapy with this combination.

Side effects:

From the immune system: rarely – allergic reactions.

From the nervous system: the frequency is unknown – damage to the vestibular nerve, neuromuscular blockade.

On the part of the organ of hearing and labyrinthine disorders: the frequency is unknown – ototoxicity.

On the part of the skin and subcutaneous tissues: rarely – allergic reactions, manifesting in the form of contact dermatitis, an allergic reaction to neomycin.
