Each gram of ointment contains:

Calcipotriol 50 mg

Betamethasone 0.5 mg

Auxiliary components:

liquid paraffin (contains about 10 ppm alpha-tocopherol), polypropylene glycol stearate (contains about 0.1% butylated hydroxytoluene), alpha-tocopherol, white soft paraffin (contains about 10 ppm alpha-tocopherol).

A combination drug for external use.

Calcipotriol is a synthetic analogue of the active metabolite of vitamin D. It inhibits the proliferation of keratinocytes and accelerates their morphological differentiation.

Betamethasone is a topical corticosteroid that has local anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, vasoconstrictive and immunosuppressive effects, but the exact mechanisms of the anti-inflammatory action of topical steroids have not been fully studied.

Рекомендуется избегать применения на больших участках кожи, составляющих более 30% поверхности тела, а также под окклюзионную повязку, наносить на складки кожи, так как это увеличивает вероятность системной абсорбции. ГКС и развитие системных побочных реакций.

Со стороны кожи и кожных придатков: часто — зуд, сыпь, ощущение жжения; нечасто – боль, раздражение, дерматит, эритема, обострение псориаза, нарушение пигментации в месте нанесения мази, фолликулит; редко – пустулезный псориаз.

Long-term topical use of betamethasone (dipropionate) is associated with the development of skin atrophy, telangiectasias, striae, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, depigmentation, colloidal degeneration of the skin, as well as an increased risk of developing generalized pustular photosensitivity, hyper- and extremely rare cases of angioedema and facial edema.

Systemic reactions: associated with the use of calcipotriol (very rare): hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria. With prolonged use of local corticosteroids in high doses, it is possible to suppress the function of the adrenal glands with the development of secondary adrenal insufficiency and symptoms of hypercortisolism, including Itsenko-Cushing’s syndrome.
