Composition: 

Each 100 ml contains Povidone-Iodine 10%. 

Product Description: 

Betadine antiseptic solution is a broad-spectrum topical disinfectant effective against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. 

Indications for Use: 

Betadine is indicated for the disinfection of wounds, cuts, abrasions, and minor burns.
It is also used for pre-operative skin disinfection and general antiseptic cleansing. 

Method of Administration and Dosage: 

Betadine solution should be applied externally to the affected area.
The dosage and frequency of application depend on the severity of the condition and medical advice. 

Contraindications: 

Betadine must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to iodine or povidone-iodine.
It is contraindicated in patients with thyroid disorders unless prescribed by a physician.

Precautions: 

Avoid prolonged use, especially in patients with thyroid disease.
Do not use it in infants under two years of age without medical supervision. 

Adverse Reactions: 

Possible side effects include local skin irritation, redness, or allergic reactions.
Rarely, systemic iodine absorption may occur with extensive use. 

Pregnancy and Lactation: 

Betadine should only be used during pregnancy or lactation if clearly necessary and prescribed by a physician.
