Compostion:
Each tablet contains risperidone 2 mg.

Indications for Use:
Apexidone is effective in controlling the symptoms of schizophrenia, a mental disorder characterized by widespread delusions and hallucinations, as well as disorganized thinking and behavior patterns.
The drug aims to improve mental stability and reduce psychotic episodes. It is used to support mood stability and reduce the extreme fluctuations associated with manic or depressive episodes that accompany bipolar disorder.
Doctors prescribe Apexidone for some complex behavioral conditions in children, particularly those associated with autism spectrum disorders, as it helps reduce irritability and aggression.
It is sometimes used to relieve acute anxiety that may accompany other neurological or psychiatric syndromes.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
Administer orally, with or without food.
Dosing is individualized; typical adult initiation for schizophrenia starts low and is titrated to an effective range.

Contraindications:

Precautions:

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):

Endocrine: hyperprolactinemia (e.g., galactorrhea, menstrual disturbances).

Pregnancy and Lactation:
Use during pregnancy only if potential benefit justifies potential risk; late-pregnancy exposure may be associated with neonatal EPS/withdrawal.
