Composition:
Each capsule contains:
Paracetamol — 500 mg.
Excipients:
starch, povidone, aerosil, gelatin, glycerol, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, sodium glycolate.
Product Description:
Analgesic‑antipyretic.
Provides pain relief, fever reduction, and mild anti‑inflammatory action.
The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis and predominant influence on the hypothalamic thermoregulation center.
Indications for Use:
Pain syndrome of mild to moderate intensity (headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, myalgia, dysmenorrhea, pain from trauma or burns).
Fever in infectious and inflammatory diseases.
Method of Administration and Dosage:
- Maximum single dose: 1 g.
- Maximum daily dose: 4 g.
- Children 6–12 years: 250–500 mg orally.
- Children 1–5 years: 120–250 mg orally.
- Frequency: up to 4 times daily with intervals of at least 4 hours.
- Maximum treatment duration: 3 days.
Contraindications:
Chronic alcoholism.
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, benign hyperbilirubinemia, and in elderly patients.
Long‑term use requires monitoring of peripheral blood counts and liver function.
Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:
Gastrointestinal: rare — dyspeptic symptoms; hepatotoxicity with prolonged high‑dose use.
Hematologic: rare — thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia, neutropenia, agranulocytosis.
Allergic: rare — rash, itching, urticaria.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
Use only if prescribed by a physician, after benefit/risk assessment.
Storage Conditions:
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C.
Packaging:
Carton box containing 2 blisters of 12 capsules each and leaflet.
